Selhurst Consulting was established in 2003 to support the HR and training community. We launched our first CIPD courses in 2007 in London Bridge and within a year we had expanded to deliver these courses in the City, Bloomsbury and Gibraltar. We are still the only provider of CIPD qualifications in Gibraltar. In 2009 we added the CIPD's training qualifications to our portfolio, offered students a blended learning resource, began our delivery of HR courses in Hertfordshire, and our block courses both in the week and at the weekend in London.
The CIPD rebranded its qualifications in 2010 and Selhurst Consulting were one of the first to deliver its new Foundation courses for both HR and for Learning and Development Practitioners. Selhurst were the first to offer these HR and L and D programmes in Bulgaria . The CIPD launched its new Intermediate qualifications in 2011 and again Selhurst was one of the first centres to offer these. Stephanie Bird, CIPD's Director of HR Capability, presented the first of our completed Intermediate students with their CIPD certificates at a special event we hosted in the City in October 2011.
The year 2012 is as promising for Selhurst as it is for London. We open for business in Kent, Buckinghamshire and Sussex in January 2012 and our new competency based route for CIPD qualifications goes live in February among many other exciting business developments.
